Since joining the New Plymouth Vet Group family in 2013, we`ve had a front-row seat to 75 years of trusted veterinary care right here in our community.
As we celebrate this milestone, one thing`s become clear: after 75 years, we`re not the story, the animals are.
So the idea was born: a book telling the stories of the Animals of New Plymouth. From the funny to the heartbreaking, the weird to the mundane, every animal`s story is worth sharing.
Swipe to see some of the submitted images and read the stories so far on the blog (link in bio). When you`re ready submit your own story and high quality photo to Publish Your Pet!
St Aubyn gets the best of both worlds: the warmth of a small, boutique clinic, and the backing of a 75-year-old animal hospital. That means top-tier technology, 60+ staff to lean on, vets with decades of experience, and a not-for-profit heart.

Say hello to Rossi, the dog of our long standing team member Viv. He`s often found hanging out at the clinic – bringing your pet to work has to be one of the best parts of this job!
"Hey you! Hi, yes, you! Are your details up to date on the Animal Register? The details for your pet`s microchip. Oh, you don`t know the chip number? No worries, come see our team at St Aubyn and they will tell you for free. Yes, free! You just have to call them to book a nurse consult to let them know you`re coming.
Better be safe than sorry right – no pet wants to be lost without a way to find their owner… we miss you too much for that, and we know you`d miss us too!"
This Saturday is national Check the Chip Day, we aren’t open on Saturday, but you can book a nurse appointment Mon-Fri if you need to find out your number. So go on, check the chip at animalregister.co.nz
